The Position

Due to continued growth, we have a unique opportunity in a busy private hospital setting for a Podiatrist to join a well-established and committed multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals encompassing Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

This exciting opportunity provides you with the opportunity to join the team either as a hospital employee or the option to be engaged on a contractual basis and grow your own business. The Friendly Society Private Hospital has an extensive and growing Allied Health Service providing both inpatient and outpatient care.

The Person

Key Selection Criteria

  1. Bachelor of Podiatry and current registration with AHPRA.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of best practice clinical standards and the ability to provide high quality assessment and intervention to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Demonstrated ability to maintain integrated service delivery and follow up, as well as coordinate and communicate with relevant internal and external providers.
  4. Proven ability to utilise interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust to promote confidence with both patients, their supports and peers within the multi-disciplinary health team.

It is a mandatory condition of employment for this role for you are vaccinated, and remain during your employment, against the following vaccine preventable diseases: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B.
