The Position

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work closely with our team of dynamic and passionate Occupational Therapists and diverse Allied Health team.  This unique opportunity in a hospital setting with private practice services, provides the opportunity to work in a senior role overseeing the Occupational Therapy team and providing services to both inpatients and private practice clientele.  You will provide supervision and development of team members, with expert clinical advice and Occupational Therapy services that will enable quality outcomes to maximize the independent living skills and quality of life through the assessment, the development of treatment programs and ongoing treatment evaluation.

Key Selection Criteria

  1. Bachelor degree of Occupational Therapy
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years’ Occupational Therapy experience (highly desired)
  3. Current AHPRA registration
  4. Extensive experience with comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and experience with some (not all) of the following – acute hospital services, NDIS, paediatrics and hands.
  5. Demonstrated experience with training and development in the Occupational Therapy field (highly desired)
  6. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with regards to delivering excellent client care
